The colon is a tube approximately 5ft – 5.5ft long and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. A healthy colon has uniform size and tone. It extends from the cecum, where it joins the small intestine, up and across the abdominal cavity and down the left side of the body until it reaches the sigmoid and rectum. The three main functions of the colon are: the final digestion of our food, the elimination of digestive residue, the discharge of toxins and wastes from our body.

Due to the tables we currently have in our therapy rooms we do have a weight limit of 280 lbs.

The number of treatments will always vary with the individual and his/her condition. Often the waste is so hard and well lodged in the colon that it may take a series of colonics to sufficiently soften and loosen this accumulated fecal material. The suggested series would be two colonics per week for six weeks. Once the colon is clean, it is advisable to have a colonic every one to two months to maintain the environment. Colonics would be beneficial before, during, and after a “fast” to hasten the removal of toxic waste.

Not usually,especially when you do our protocol and sauna prior to colonic. Some cramping may occur during the session as the colon contracts to expel waste, but most people actually find the session very pleasant and relaxing.

Colon hydrotherapy, is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine, without the use of drugs. It is best used in combination with adequate nutrient and fluid intake as well as exercise. Today’s sophisticated technology promotes both the safety and sanitation of this popular cleansing practice. The filtered water used during the session does not enter the small intestine or higher, just the colon. The good bacteria are not completely removed contrary to rumors and myths.

This procedure helps rid toxins that cause disease. As for our equipment: SCOPE We sterilize our equipment used in 2 sterilizers. After washing equipment, we place the scope in a pressure cooker for 15 mins. then into a dry autoclave for another 60 mins. Once its ready to use we place sterilized scope in a glass container of peroxide. TANK / TUBES The tank is filled with purified ozone water, we mineralize and add a small does of food grade hydrogen peroxide. At the end of the day, our tanks are empty, and tubes are detached to dry. This is an important part of MOLD prevention. Tubes that we use for each client (exterior only) are washed and soaked in hydrogen peroxide for at least 30 mins. FLOORS We steam mop our floors each week and ask that clients put socks on at the door for their protection and to keep the floors clean.

CLEANSES THE COLON — Toxic material is broken down so it can no longer harm your body or inhibit assimilation and elimination. Once impacted material is removed your colon can begin again to cooperate as it was meant to function. In this very real sense, a colonic is a rejuvenation treatment.

IT EXERCISES THE COLON MUSCLES — The build up of toxic debris weakens the colon and impairs its functioning. The gentle filling and emptying of the colon improves peristaltic (muscular contraction) activity by which the colon naturally moves material.
